The Object Of Procurement Is The Work Clothes (Products) Of Leijona Catering Oy (Hereinafter Also Procurement Unit) Listed In The Request For Tender. The Procurement Unit Buys The Products For Itself. The Procurement Includes The Delivery Of The Products To The Offices Of The Purchasing Entity And The Recycling Of The Products (Recycling Service). The Recycling Service Is Described Below. In Addition, The Purchase Includes Laundry And Repair Services For The Products (Laundry Services). Laundry Services Also Include The Laundry Service For Textiles Used By Other Locations Of The Procurement Unit, Respectively, As For Products. The Procurement Is Divided Into Parts So That The Bidder Can Offer Either Sub-Area 1) Products And Recycling Service Or Sub-Area 2) Laundry And Repair Services, Or Both. If The Bidder Makes A Bid For Subarea 1, The Bidder Must Present The Operating Model Of The Recycling Service, In Which Leijonas Used And Retired Work Clothes Can Be Recycled Again For Reuse Or As Raw Material For New Products. Recycling Is Defined In More Detail In Section Ii.2.4. The Bidder Selected As A Supplier For Sub-Area 1 Implements The Operating Model Approved By The Procurement Unit As A Recycling Service At Prices According To The Contract. The Recycling Service Cannot Be Offered Separately. The Bidder Selected As A Supplier For Sub-Area 1 Must Have Storage Facilities For The Products And Must Also Have A Real-Time Storage Monitoring And Reporting System In Use. Sub-Area 2 Covers The Laundry And Repair Services Of The Products Offered To Sub-Area 1, Including The Collection Of The Products From The Locations, The Washing And Inspection Of The Washed Products For Repairs, The Repair Of The Products That Require Repair And The Delivery Of The Washed And Intact Products Back To The Location As Required Below In The Request For Tender. The Repair Service Cannot Be Offered Separately. Laundry Services Must Cover All Locations Of The Procurement Unit In Finland. The Bidder Selected As A Supplier For Sub-Area 2 Implements The Operating Model Approved By The Procurement Unit As A Laundry Service At The Prices In Accordance With The Contract. As An Option, The Procurement Entity Can Also Acquire Washing Services For Other Location-Specific Textiles Of Its Locations (Other Textiles) On The Basis Of The Contract For Sub-Area 2. Other Textiles Refer To Workplace-Specific Textiles In Small Quantities, Such As Tablecloths. Other Products Are Collected, Washed And Delivered To The Locations In The Same Way As The Products. The Customer Is Responsible For Separating Other Textiles From The Products Collected For Washing As Part Of The Service. The Washing Of Other Products Is Priced Accordingly, As For The Products. The Object Of The Procurement And The Requirements And Conditions Relating To It Are Described In More Detail In The Section-Specific Description As Well As In The Request For Tenders And Its Appendices.
