The Subsea Joint Shall Be Capable Of Jointing Similar Or Different Types Of Steel Armours, By Adapting A Set Of Interchangeable Armour Locking Cones Based On Specified Cable Design. This Ensures A Minimum Of Additional Parts Or Procedures Are Required. The Subseajoint Shall Have A Total Capacity Of 96 Splices Of Fiber Optic Cable Organized In A Special Tray And By Modification This Shall Be Able To Be Increased To A Total Of 192 Splices The Subsea Joint Shall Provide The Electrical Continuity Between Jointed Cable And Shall Be Insulated From Sea Water. The Subsea Joint Shall Be Qualified For A Water Depth Of 3000 Meters. The Subsea Joint Shall Be Protected From Water Ingress By Means Of Metallic Seals And Elastomer O-Rings.
