C.#During Scaffolding Erection, Contractor Shall Deploy Their Safety Of Ficer And Supervisor Along With Scaffolding Supervisor To Confirm The Required Scaffolding/Access Is In-Line With The Safety Require Ments To Safely Carry Out Coating Works. Scaffolding Shall Be Checked Every Day By The Contractor#S Qualified Inspector And Safety O Fficer Before Use. Any Observations Shall Be Immediately Reported To The Dewa Interface Engineer/ Deputy Manager# D.#Contractor Sha Ll Take Responsibility To Obtain Gate Passes For The Staff Members, Materials, Vehicles In And Out From Dewa Premises And Permit To Work As Well As Formal Closure And Return The Permit To Work To Dewa.## E.#Contractor Shall Provide All Required Consumables Such A S Abrasives Materials, Sealants, Coatings, Cleaning Agents, Application Tools, Inspection And Testing Tools, And All Other Consumabl E Or Tools Required To Carry Out The Complete Scope Of The Work.#F.#Contractor Shall Provide Appropriate Safety And Protection Equ Ipment For All The Personnel Including First Aid Kit. Transportation Facilities And Site Office Container With Rest Room Shall Be Pr Ovided By Contractor As Well.# G.#Contractor Shall Take All Precautions To Avoid Any Damages To The Plant Equipment While Carrying Out The Works. For Any Damages Caused By Contractor To Dewa Property During The Coating Process, Contractor Shall Be Held Liable To Replace Damaged Equipment At His Own Cost.# # H.#Due To Plant Operational Emergencies, Dewa Reserves The Right To Change The Shutdow N Schedule With Short Notice, In Such Case Contractor Shall Promptly Clear The Work Area And Revise The Work Implementation Schedule In Consultation With Concerned Dewa Engineer. In This Occurrence Contractor Is Not Entitled To Claim Any Extra Payment From Dewa On Account Of Such Re-Scheduling, Waiting Time Or Delay.# I.#Contractor Shall Work In Accordance With International Codes And Standar Ds At Each Stage Of Works. In All Circumstances, Local Governing Rules Shall Be Adhered To.# # J.#Contractor Shall Complete All Acti Vities Within The Mutually Agreed Outage Schedule.# K.#At All Times Contractors# Personnel Must Strictly Adhere To The Safety And S Ecurity Procedures Of Dewa During Their Presence And While Working Inside Dewa Premises. # L.#Disposal Of All Kind Of Waste Created During Said Project Like Abrasives, Used Paint Containers, Rags And All Other Materials By Contractor Shall Be According To Dubai Municipality Rules And Regulation Only. M.#Contractor Working On-Site, Mandatorily Have To Adhere To, But Not Limited To, The Followi Ng Environment Policies :#- ·#Support Our Integrated Management System Policy. ·#Help Us To Achieve Our Environmental Objectives An D Targets By Conserving Resources, Energy And Water And By Minimizing Waste Whilst On-Site. ·#Prevent Pollution Wherever Possible. · #Follow Any Procedure In The Environmental Management System That Is Relevant To Your Activities In Accordance With The Site Manager S Instructions. ·#Phase Out The Use Of Ozone Depleting Substances On Our Site. ·#To Comply With Legislative Requirements Of Dubai M Unicipality At All Times. N.#Contractor To Clear The Site On Daily Basis Before Leaving Site After Day#S Work And Leave The Site In As Is Condition.# O.#In Case The Contractor#S Time Schedule For The Work Is Found Protracted, Dewa Has The Right To Split And Aw Ard The Contract To More Than One Contractor At Its Discretion. P.#Contractor Have To Commence The Work Within 48 Hours Of Intimati On And Shall Complete All The Related Formalities Like Mobilization Of Staff, Tool & Plant Machineries, Gate Pass Etc., Well In Adva Nce For The Work. Q.#The Contractor Shall Be Responsible For Any Damage To The Equipment Due To Poor Workmanship. Any Damage To The Equipment By The Poor Workmanship, Wrong Handling Etc., The Cost Will Be Recovered From The Contractor. R.#In Spite Of All The Care Taken By The Contractor And His Workmen, If Any Of The Plant Items Are Damaged Or Defaced Or Otherwise Made In-Operational By The C Ontractor#S Men, This Shall Be Forthwith Reported To Dewa Engineer In-Charge Of The Job To Avert Further Damages, Breakdown Or Shutd Own Of The Total Plant. 4.0#Qualification Of Bidder A.#The Bidder Shall Have Proven Experience In Abrasive Blast Cleaning, Applic Ation Of Protective Coating System, Inspection And Testing In Or Outside Uae In Similar Environment B.#The Bidder Should Establish H Is Previous Experience In Similar Activities Either In Dewa Or Outside Dewa C.#The Bidder Shall Have Specialists To Depute A Qualifi Ed Coating Inspector (Nace Certified Or Equivalent) Who Shall Conduct Inspections And Testing At Every Stage Of The Process At Dewa Premises And Release/Issue Required Clearance Certificates Of Acceptance/Clearance To Dewa. # 5.0#Submission Of Bid: Quotation Shal L Be Submitted As Per Schedule #B# Part-1 As Below, A.#Carry Out The Full Scope Of Work As Mentioned In This D Standard Terms & Conditions 1) Prices Should Be Ddp Delivery Duty Paid At Dewa Stores. 2) Quotation To Be Submitted Only In Local Currency U.A.E Dirhams 3) Dewa Standard Payment Terms Is 30 Days Credit From The Date Of Acceptance Of Material 4) No Dewa Staff Or His Or Her Relatives Up To Third Degree Should Have Ownership Or Partnership In Your Company, And Your Participation In Dewa Tenders / Rfqs Should Not Constitute A Conflict Or Perceived Conflict Of Interest.
