The Work Is To Comply With The Associated Earthworks Consent Including Erosion And Sediment Control. The Contractor Is To Create The Bulk Earthwork Surface From The Provided Design Surface And Allow For Erosion And Sediment Control Overland Flow Paths And Devices. It Is Expected That (As A Separate Future Stage Of Works), The Bulk Earthwork Surface Will Require Additional Work Prior To Placing The Imported Construction Materials, However The Contractor Is Expected To Produce A Surface That Limits The Rework. The Methodology Submitted To Swdc With This Reoi Should Discuss How Unsuitable Material Will Be Managed During The Works. No Material Is Proposed To Leave Site. The Earthworks Are Over Approximately 8Ha. Approximate Volumes: Cut: -12,000M3 Fill: 12,000M3 Balance: 0M3 The Subdivision Is A Live Project, And The Finished Surface Is Subject To Ongoing Design As This Project Progresses. As Part Of The Second Stage Of Tender Process, The Shortlisted Contractors Will Be Issued A Digital 3D Finished Surface Which Will Be Current At The Time And To Be Considered Final Regarding Bulk Earthworks. Please Refer To The Attached Plans. A Review Will Be Carried Out By Swdc To Identify The Most Suitable Candidates In Terms Of Experience And Capability To Deliver The Works. A Shortlist Of Approximately 3 5 Contractors May Then Be Asked To Provide A Tender For Pre-Construction Services.
