The Government Of India Has Applied For Financing From The Asian Development Bank (Hereinafter Called "Adb") Toward The Cost Of Kerala Urban Water Services Improvement Project (Kuwsip). Part Of This Financing Will Be Used For Payments Under The Contract Package Named Above. Bidding Is Open To Bidders From Eligible Source Countries Of Adb. 2. The Water Resources Department, Government Of Kerala Is The Executing Agency, And The Kerala Water Authority (Kwa) Is The Implementing Agency Of The Project. Kwa (The Employer) Invites Bids From Eligible Bidders For The Water Supply System Operations And Maintenance And System Upgrades In Kochi. The Completion Period Is 120 Months. 3. Open Competitive Bidding (International Advertisement) Will Be Conducted In Accordance With The AdbS Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure And Is Open To All Eligible Bidders As Described In The Bidding Document. 4. Only Eligible Bidders With The Following Key Qualifications Should Participate In This Bidding: Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover Of Us$52 Million Calculated As Total Certified Payments Received For Contracts In Progress Or Completed, Within The Last Three (3) Years. As A Minimum, The BidderS Net Worth For The Last Year Calculated As The Difference Between Total Assets And Total Liabilities Should Be Positive. Participation As A Contractor, Joint Venture Partner, Or Subcontractor, In At Least One (1) Contract That Has Been Successfully Or Substantially Completed Within The Last Ten (10) Years And That Is Similar To The Proposed Works, Where The Value Of The BidderS Participation Exceeds Us$96 Million Or Participation As A Contractor, Joint Venture Partner, Or Subcontractor, In At Least Two (2) Contracts That Have Been Successfully Or Substantially Completed Within The Last Ten (10) Years And That Are Similar To The Proposed Works, Where The Value Of The BidderS Participation Under Each Contract Exceeds Us$60 Million.
