As Part Of The Equipment For The New Research Building R.2 On The South Campus, The Medical Faculty Owl Requires Two Autoclaves, A Large Upright Autoclave With Horizontal Loading (Lot 1) And A Smaller Upright Autoclave With Vertical Loading (Lot 2). The Autoclaves Are Collectively Available To A Broad User Group. Both Autoclaves Are Used For Liquids (E.G. Buffers, Media), Working Materials (E.G. Glassware, Cell Culture Flasks, Laboratory Consumables), And Waste (Liquid, Solid). Graduated Chamber Volumes Serve Individual Required Quantities Of Autoclaved Goods. Both Autoclaves Should Be Suitable For Operation In Laboratories Of Security Level 2 According To Gentsv And Biostoffv And Comply With The Technical Rules (Trba, Trbs).
