The Financial And Contract Management Unit (Fcmu-Wb/Afd) Ministry Of Energy And Water (Minea) Now Invites Sealed Bids From Eligible Bidders For The Engineering Design And Construction Of Water Supply Remedial Works In The Cities Of Cuito, Huambo And Lubango Comprising The Detailed Design And Construction Of The Main Interventions For The Rehabilitation Of The Existing Bulk Water Supply Systems, As Well The Needed Intervention Of Distribution Network, And Furnishing Of The Needed Equipment For A Good Exploitation And Service Of Drinking Water Supply. The Design And Build Contract Consists Of The Following Phases And Durations: Design Phase Of 6 Months; Construction Phase Of 12 Months; Followed By Defects Liability Period (Dlp) Of 12 Months. Bidding Will Be Conducted Through International Competitive Procurement Using Request For Bids (Rfb) As Specified In The World BankS Procurement Regulations For Ipf Borrowers- Procurement In Investment Projects Financing" Dated July 2016 And Revised In November 2017 (Procurement Regulations), And Is Open To All Eligible Bidders As Defined In The Procurement Regulations.
