The City Of Ibbenbüren Intends To Award The Delivery Of Bitumen Emulsion C60b4-Rep As A Framework Agreement. The Following Items Are Specifically Involved: 1.1 50.00 T Of Bitumen Emulsion C60b4-Rep For The Spraying And Spreading Process In Accordance With The Technical Delivery Conditions For Bitumen Emulsion Tl Be-Stb 15. Delivery Is In Individual Batches, Quantities Of 5-18T And More Simultaneously Provision Of A Storage Tank With A Maximum Capacity Of 18T And, If Required, Equipped With A Transfer Device (Pump), Which Is To Be Parked At The Ibbenbüren Construction And Service Depot, Alternatively It May Be Necessary At The Beginning Or At The End Of The Season Instead Of The Storage Tank On A 4-5T Service Tanks On Tandem Axle With Complete Heating And Spraying Device, Since The Processed Daily Amount Is Lower During This Period Calculate Unit Price. By Submitting The Offer, The Contractor (Manufacturer Or Supplier) Of The Bitumen Emulsion Undertakes To Deliver Material That Must Meet The Following Properties: - Workability: The Material Must Be Seasonal, Can Be Processed/Used At Temperatures Of Up To 8°C Over A Large Area And At Points (Removal Of Potholes) Up To At Least 5°C (Air And Soil Temperature) - Immediate Setting Process: (Breaking Behavior) In Max. 15-20 Minutes For Single-Layer And Multi-Layer Construction With Grain-Graded Diabase -Precious Chippings- Flowability: Good Flow Behavior In Connection With A Short Outflow Time For A Prompt Setting Process.- Shelf Life: The Material Must Be Sufficiently Storable (4-6 Weeks). Separation Of The Stable Emulsion Must Be Within A Small Tolerance Range. Daily Pumping And Heating Of The Emulsion In The Storage Tank Is Uneconomical And Reduces The Quality. If The Required Conditions Are Not Met, Then Short-Term On-Site Appointments Must Be Made Between The Client And The Contractor To Carry Out Work Tests, Present The Problems, Determine The Causes, And Take Appropriate Corrective Measures To Eliminate Them To Achieve The Shortcomings; Defective Bitumen Emulsion Is To Be Taken Back At The Contractors Expense.
