Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Carbon Pricing Impact Assessment For Montenegro The Objective Of This Assignment Is To Conduct A Comprehensive Impact Assessment Of The Carbon Pricing Instruments (Ets, Carbon Tax, Domestic Offset) For Montenegro To Inform The Government On The Most Effective And Feasible Policy Instruments. The Assessment Shall Provide Analyses On The Implications Of Joining The Eu Ets, Compliance With The Eu Cbam, And Introduction Any Non-Ets Cpi On The Changes In Energy Use And Ghg Emissions, On The Business And Consumers, As Well As The Socio-Economic And Distributional (Including Just Transition) Impact. The Assessment Shall Include Evaluation Of The Interactions Of Carbon Pricing On Generation Planning Of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (Epcg), The Coal-Fired Tpp. Usage Of Funds For Climate Change Mitigation Should Be Considered. Different Scenarios Should Be Analyzed Using The Modelling Software And Providing Relevant Spreadsheets And Presentations. The Results Of The Analyses Will Be Presented During The Workshops.
