Tenders Are Invited For Wheel Chair Lift

Wheel Chair Lift Furnish all materials, labor, and equipment to modify One (1) 2023 Ford Transit Tall Roof,12 passenger Heavy Duty Extended Van& to transport persons in wheelchairs. Modification to include: A) One (1) fully automatic BRAUN (or equivalent) Wheel Chair Lifts with manual back-up. B) Installation/mounting the lifts on the rear of the van to include a safety switch in& the driver area to cut power to the lift controls when the door is closed, and permanently mounting one set of lift controls inside of the rear door. Cable control box must be secured to avoid getting in the way of the& lift or door operation. C) Leveling the floors from the back of the driver's seat to the rear of the vehicles and installing rubber matting over the floor. D) Installation of support board under rubber padding for ease of W/C manueverability E) Installation of at least three strap (type A) tracks providing for securement of at least two& wheelchairs facing forward. F) Installation of two (1) sets of four (4) way securement kits (and lap belts.& Q Straint Deluxe (Q 8100-AI-A) or equivalent. G) The two (2) smaller bench seats must remain useable when not transporting persons in wheelchairs. Seats must remain capable of being removed by use of the manufacturer's quick disconnect method. H) Pamphlets on use of lift and securement kits plus a lift parts list.
