Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Training And Capacity Building Of Small Holders In Climate Smart Sustainable Sugarcane Cultivation The Overall Objective Of The Project Is To Bring About A Behavioral Change Among Small Holders With Respect To Adoption Of Climate Smart And Climate Resilient Sustainable Practices In Sugarcane Cultivation In Client In South India (State Of Tamil Nadu, Nellikuppam And/Or Pugulur). 15,000 Small Holder Farmers In The Supply-Chain Of Eid Parry, Including 3000 Women Smallholders, Will Be Trained In Climate Smart Practices/Techniques/Technologies For E.G., Optimum/Reduced Use Of Chemical Fertilisers, Biological Crop Protection Inputs Like Bio Pesticides, Single Bud Seedling Production. The Project Will Also Focus On Micro Agri-Entrepreneurship (Including Women Entrepreneurs) Development ( For Bio Pesticides And Single Bud Seedling) To Support Adoption And Scale Up Of Agronomical Practices/Techniques Which Will Lead To Improvement In Yield And Sustainable Management Of Agricultural Lands.
