EXTERNAL WORKS - RESURFACING, REPAIRS TO GARDEN WALLS AND Fencesdescription ***CONTRACT PARAMETERS*** The Works Involve Resurfacing And External Works As Follows: - Paving And Surfacing - Breaking Out Existing Surfaces And Associated Sub-Bases And Resurfacing Or Creating New Surfaces Primarily In Tarmac, Concrete - Pre-Cast/ Cast In Situ, Brick Paving, Gravel. Areas Will Include Both Paving To Individual Properties And Communal Areas As Follows: Garden Paths, Driveways, Garage Forecourts, Car Parks, Communal Footpaths, Drying Areas, Access Roads Etc. - Line Marking - Application Of Thermoplastic Line Markings To Newly Surfaced Areas Where Necessary. - Drainage Works And Gratings/ Access Covers - Repairs To Drainage Associated With Resurfacing Works - Repair Or Replacement Of Drainage Runs, Gullies, Resetting Manhole Covers, Gully Gratings And Utilities Covers (Water, Telephone, Cable TV Etc). Survey Of Drains Including CCTV, Unblocking/ Jetting Drains To Ensure All Water Clears From Newly Resurfaced Areas. - Repair Of Boundary Enclosures - - Walls - Demolish And Rebuild Brick And Stone Walls - Fences - Take Down/ Repair Of Timber Fences And Gates ***DURATION*** - Phase 1 - The Contract Will Be For The Duration Of Three Calendar Years, Commencing 01 April 2023 With Completion On 31 March 2026. ***EXTENSION*** - Phase 2 - Cottsway Shall Have An Option To Extend The Contract Period By A Further 2 Years (Subject To Satisfactory Annual Performance). This Will Be By Mutual Agreement With The Contractor. Should Cottsway Choose To Exercise This Option, Phase 2 Would Commence On 01 April 2026 With Completion On 31 March 2028. ***CONTRACT*** The Form Of Contract Will Be The JCT - Measured Term Contract 2016.
