Brunswick Effluent Transmission Main Repair Project In order to complete the work, the contractor will need to drain/depressurize the main. Draining or depressurizing the main may be accomplished through opening the valves on the blow off assemblies or pig launch stations or through other approved methods of isolating and depressurizing the air release assemblies. If the contractor chooses to use the blow off assembly or pig launching station to drain the line they will need to cut in a new valve on the blow off assembly line or stack a new valve on the existing pig launching station valve.
