Insulation Removal & Re-Fixing Including Surface Cleaning Mechanically On Boiler Casing (Internal & External), Flue Gas Exhaust Duct Control & Shut-Off Damper Area For Inspection, Casing Repair Of Particular Area. Total Surface Area Of Insulation Removal & Re-Fixi Ng In E Station, Japs-Jebel Ali. Whb-1B Boiler Is Approximate 150Sq.Maters Approximate. Scope Of Work:- 1. The Site Survey & Mea Surements Is To Be Taken By Suppliers. Visit The Site And Understand The Scope & Difficulties Before Providing Quotation. 2. Removal Of Cladding Sheets From Boiler Casing (Internal & External), Flue Gas Exhaust Duct Control & Shut-Off Damper Area, Casing Where Ever Marked. 3. Remove Insulation From Boiler Casing (Internal & External), Flue Gas Duct, Steam Drum & Steam Pipe Lines. 4. Clean The Casing With Proper Tool As Per Requirement. 5. Keep The Insulation /Cladding Sheets In Safe Place As Per Dewa Engineer Instructions. 6. Arrange To Repair The Casing And Associated Angle, Channel & Beams If It Is Found Crack, Eroded Or Found Less Thickness Measurement Or As Per Dewa Supervisor. 7. Welding Shall Not Be Carried Out Without The Approval Of Dewa Engineers. 8. Only Qualified Welders Shall Be So The All The Welding Including Tack Welding. 9. Welding Shall Be Done In Accordance With The Qualified Welding Procedure. 10. The Work Carried Out Under This Contract Shall Be Inspected By Dewa En Gineers At All Stages Of Work And There Shall Have Free Access To Contractor#S Site At All Times. 10. Re-Fix The Old/New Insulat Ion As Exists In Its Previous Condition. 11. Provide Cladding Sheets With New Screws And Bands As Per Original. 12. Dispose Old Insulation In Red Bags As Per Dewa Engineer Instructions. 13. Housekeeping To Be Done On Daily Basis. Contractor#S Scope O F Work:- 1. Mobilization Of Manpower With The Following-- A) Transport For Working Staff. B) Staff Sitting Area (Container Or Porta Cabin Or Prepared With Scaffolding & Covered With Tarpaulin) As Dewa Is Not Providing Office, Staff Sitting A Rea & Toilets. C) Eco Toilets Including Disposal Arrangement. D) Drinking Water. 2. The Contractor Should Have Capacity An D Resources For Insulation Work. 3. Material Including All Shall Be Arranged By The Contractor As Part Of The Contract Work . A.#Collection, Transport And Delivery Of The Material. B.#All Kinds Of Tools And Equipment Suitable For Job. C.#Rivets, Screws And Steel Bands Required For The Work. D.#Welding Machines, Welding Consumable, Tools & Tackles, Etc Required For The Work. E. #Hand And Powered Tools, Rigging Tools(Manila Rope,Lifting Belts,Pully), Material Handling Facilities, Inspection Tools And Accessories. F. Tarpaulins, Hand Lamps, Temporary Supports Etc G. Personal Safety /Protection Equipment, First Aid Kit , For His Staff At Site. H. In General All Items Of Tools, Accessories, Consumable, Hoses, Cables, Distribution Board Etc. Other Than Facilities Provided By Dewa Shall Be Arranged By The Contractor. I.# All Electrical Tools Should Be Tested & Certified By Approved Third Party. 4. All The Workmen Should Wear The Uniform, Safety Shoes And Helmet While On Wor K. The Technicians Shall Bring With Them Their Personal Toolboxes. 5. The Contractor Should Not Keep Inflammable Substances Aroun D The Working Area In The Plant. 6. The Warning Sign Boards Should Be Provided By The Contractor As #Work In Progress# #No Ent Ry# Etc. At The Entry And Wherever Required. 7. The Contractor Should Barricade The Area Of Work Where Ever Required And Possi Ble. 8. Tool Box Talk (Tbt) Should Be Given To All Workmen On Daily Basis Before Start Of Work By The Safety Supervisor And Sh Ould Keep Records. 9. The Work Carried Out By Contractor Under This Contract Shall Carry A Warranty Of 1Year Against For Faulty/ Poor Fabrication, Erection And Workmanship.
