Tenders Are Invited For Management Of Temporary Dump Sites And Carting Away Of Post Cyclonic Wastes From Temporary Dump Sites To Mare Chicose Landfill Or To Composting Site. After Passage Of Cyclones, Large Volumes Of Green Wastes Have To Be Carted Away And The Population Usually Seizes This Opportunity To Get Rid Of Their Bulky Wastes As Well. It Is The Responsibility Of The Ministry To Ensure That All Post Cyclonic Wastes In Addition To Normal Domestic Wastes Are Carted Away Safely Over A Short Period Of Time To Avoid Environmental Hazards. To Attain This Objective, Temporary Dump Sites Are Opened During Cyclonic Season To Receive Green Wastes, Which Are Subsequently Carted Away To Mare Chicose Landfill. During Cyclonic Season, The Contractors Already Servicing The Ministry Shall Continue To Execute Their Ongoing Contractual Duties Which They Have Entered With The Ministry I.E. Collection And Carting Away Of All Domestic, Usual Bulky Wastes And Non-Compactible Wastes To Transfer Stations. Tender Link :
