General Procurement Notice Second Regional Economic Development Project The Project Will Include The Following Components: Component 1. Supporting Municipal Infrastructure, Basic Public Services, And Capacity Building This Component Will Support The Following Activities: Improving Municipal Infrastructure And Associated Municipal Services, Including, Inter Alia: Sewerage, Water Supply And Drainage Systems, Municipal And Regional Roads And Street Lighting; Schools And Kindergartens; And Other Municipal Assets Of High Interest To The Community, In Selected Locations, Including Through Public-Private Cooperation Mechanisms. Training And Other Capacity Building For Local, Regional And Relevant Central Public Bodies On The Issues Of Territorial And Investment Planning And Development, Seismic Resiliency, Energy Efficiency And Other Matters. Component 2. Strengthening Agriculture Competitiveness; This Component Includes Activities Aimed At Following: Improving Basic Agricultural Services, Strengthening Agri-Food Clusters. Component 3. Promoting Local Economic Development Through The Small Grants Program; This Component Includes Activities Aimed At Supporting Local Economic Development Through Sme Development, Including, Inter Alia: Training And Provision Of Technical Assistance To The Selected Participants In Starting And Scaling Up A Business Activity; And Providing Small Grants For: Launching And Developing Relevant Business Activities (Start-Up Grants); And Diversifying Product Offering And Expanding (Scale-Up Grants) The Provision Of Services. Component 4. Contingent Emergency Response Component (Cerc); This Component Will Support The Following Activities: Goods, Works And Consultancy Services For Provision Of Support Upon Occurrence Of An Eligible Crisis Or Emergency. Component 5. Operational Support. Project Implementation, Including The ProjectS Monitoring And Evaluation System, Communication Strategy, Application Of Environmental And Social Instruments, Annual Audits, Training And Financing Of Operating Costs.
