ANR-FPR Underhill SP Water Distribution Road & Drainage INVITATION TO BID DEPARTMENT OF BUILDINGS AND GENERAL SERVICES STATE OF VERMONT Contractors are invited to bid on the Underhill State Park Water Distribution, Road and Drainage Improvements for Forests, Parks and Recreation at 352 Mountain Road in Underhill, Vermont. This project consists of, but is not limited to: Replacing the last section of existing, above grade 3” galvanized iron pipe (to be removed and properly disposed of off-site) with approximately 2000’ of new 4” SDR7.3, PE3408 fusion welded HDPE waterline, connecting to the existing waterline, installation of four 5 ID precast concrete valves pits with drains, a low point drain, and new waterstands. Also included in the project is Ranger House plumbing improvements to consist of removing/demo of piping in the basement and replacing with properly sized PEX tubing, fittings and connections. In addition, this project will include re-grading the park road, modifying the three parking areas and relocating the through road between them, and drainage improvements consisting of new ditching, cleaning existing culverts, installing new culverts with sediment forebays, erosion prevention, turf establishment and all incidental work necessary to complete the project.
