Regional Sahel Pastoralism Support Project Ii Supervision Of Populations For The Realization Of Firewalls To Fight Against Bush Fires /Pastoral Space Protection This Objective Is Divided Into Five Components Which Are: Component 1: Improvement Of Animal Health And Control Of Veterinary Drugs. It Will Be Implemented Through The Following Three Sub-Components: (I) Capacity Building Of National Veterinary Services; (Ii) Support For The Surveillance And Harmonized Control Of Priority Contagious Animal Diseases; And (Iii) Support For The Control Of Veterinary Drugs. Component 2: Sustainable Management Of Landscapes And Improvement Of Governance. It Revolves Around The Following Three Sub-Components: (I) Securing Access To Natural Resources And Sustainable Landscape Management; (Ii) Sustainable Management Of Water Access Infrastructure; And (Iii) Fodder Production. Component 3: Improving Livestock Value Chains. It Is Structured Around The Following Three Sub-Components: (I) Development Of Strategic Market Infrastructure For Regional Trade; (Ii) Capacity Building Of National And Regional Organizations Of Pastoral Producers; And (Iii) Value Chain Development And Sub-Project Financing. Component 4: Improvement Of Social And Economic Inclusion, Women And Young People With The Following Sub-Components: (I) Access To Vocational And Technical Training, (Ii) Improvement Of Access To Social And Civil Status Registers, (Iii) ) Income-Generating Activities. Component 5: Project Coordination, Institutional Strengthening, Crisis Prevention And Response. Its Sub-Components Are: (I): Project Coordination; (Ii) Institutional Strengthening (Ii) Emergency Response.
