Request For Proposals Are Invited For Development Of The Who-Png Country Cooperation Strategy 2023-2028 Deadline: 31-Oct-2022 17:00 (Gmt 8.00) Beijing, Perth, Singapore, Hong Kong The World Health Organization (Who) Is Seeking Offers For The Development Of Who/Png Country Cooperation Strategy (Ccs). Background The Country Cooperation Strategy (Ccs) Is The Corporate Strategy That Sets Out What Is Needed From Who In (And In Collaboration) With The Country. It Is WhoS Strategic Framework To Guide The OrganizationS Work In And With A Country. It Responds To The CountryS National Health And Development Agenda And Identifies A Set Of Agreed Joint Priorities For Who Collaboration, Covering Those Areas Where The Organization Has A Comparative Advantage In Order To Assure Public Health Impact. The Ccs Is WhoS Corporate Framework Strategy To Implement The Thirteenth General Programme Of Work (Gpw13) With A Response To Country Needs And Priorities. It Translates The 2030 Agenda For Sustainable Development, WhoS General Programme Of Work And WprS For The Future Vision To The Country Context. In The Region, The Ccs Provides A Longer-Term Perspective And Is Both Based On And Serves As A Basis For Biennial Workplans (Sharpening Both And Connecting Bienniums). It Helps Communicate Our Work To Partners And Serves As Our Input Into The United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (Unsdcf). PngS Ccs Covering The Period 2016-2020 Was Recently Evaluated And Will Inform The Development Of The New Cooperation Strategy.The New Ccs Will Be Developed Through An Extensive And Broad Consultation Process, With The Participation Of Staff From Across Who, Un Agencies And Representatives Of The Government, Development Partners, Academia And Civil Society. Work To Be Performed The Ccs Development Process Will Involve The Following Major Scopes Of Work. The Consultant/Team Shall Do The Following: Activity 1: Analyze And Draft Current Health Challenges And Context A Strong Evidence Base Is Crucial To The Development Of A Ccs That Most Effectively Meets The CountryS Needs And Helps It Achieve Its Health-Related Sdg Targets. It Will Ensure That The Selected Priorities And Type Of Support Provided Are Relevant And Focused On The CountryS Specific Needs And Challenges. Recent And Disaggregated Data Are Particularly Important To Ensure That Health-Related And Gender Issues Are Given Proper Consideration, And That Vulnerable Populations Are Not Left Behind.
