The primary purpose of this tender is to trial vertical axis wind turbines in the marine environment in order to reduce non-renewable energy usage in aquaculture. BIM requires two (2) vertical axis wind turbines in addition to the floating structure upon which it will be mounted, including the mooring plans for the proposed structure. Therefore, BIM invites tenders for the supply of two (2) vertical axis wind turbines and a floating supporting structure to enable deployment and commissioning in the marine environment.
