Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Hiring Of A Consultant For Design And Supervision Of Rehabilitation Works Specifically, The Consulting Firm Will Undertake The Following Tasks: Collect Relevant And Detailed Information And Analyze It To Fully Understand The Reasons And Extent Of Land Degradation And The Need For Reclamation Across Identified Communities And Sites (Including Geo-Technical, Geological And Hydro-Geological Conditions As Well As Geophysical And Topographic Features); Review Existing Pre-Feasibility Studies, Screening Reports And Stakeholder Consultations; Assess The Existing Situation (Physical And Chemical Stability, Water Balance, Restrictions Of Land Use) In Terms Of The Actual Impacts Mined Out Sites Are Generating, Based On Detailed Site Investigation; Propose The Scope Of The Reclamation Works In Regard To The End Result Of This Intervention (Ensure Safety, Eliminate Health Hazards, Economic Reuse Of The Rehabilitated Site); Present Reclamation Options To Mmmr And Local Representatives And Justify The Approach/Methodology Of Engineering Design Selected For Effective Reclamation (Feasibility, Efficiency, Reliability, Durability, Inspection And Maintenance Needs, Safety, Cost); Review And Recommend Reclamation And Closure Works Where Necessary To Ensure Long-Term Physical, Chemical And Ecological Stability, Stating Any Assumptions Taken; Confirm Land/Site Ownership, Identify And Analyze Opportunities And Constraints For Synergies With Mine Owners In Relation To Respective Sites; Prepare Engineering Designs And Working Designs For Each Of The Identified Sites; Prepare Bills Of Quantities (Boq) For Reclamation Of The Identified Sites; Estimate The Cost Of The Works For Each Site In Us$.
