Faculty Information System Faculty Annual Evaluation Report: The Current Process Is Through Word Document Submission Based On Individual College Requirements Except For Two Colleges That Use An Electronic Form. The Faculty Indicate What Their Activities Have Been For Each Term. The Focus Is On Their Academic Achievements, Courses Taught, Research, And Service. Faculty Can Provide Multiple Data Elements Regarding Research Including Publications, Presentations, Internal Or External Recognitions, Student Mentoring, Advising Activities, Service Information, Funding, Grants, And Contracts. Annual Report Process Contains Workflow Process For Review And Approval By College Deans. Another Element Of Annual Reporting Includes Faculty Activity Collection, Which Provides Data For National Surveys And Dashboards. The College Of Health Professions And Sciences (Chps) And College Of Community Innovation And Education (Ccie) Have An Electronic Form (Faculty Annual Evaluation Report). 2. Ep&T (Electronic Promotion & Tenure): Custom Application Is Used For Promotional Pathways For Tenured, Tenure-Earning And Non-Tenured Earning Faculty. Process Begins In June And Ends In March (When Provost Makes Final Decisions). Prior To The Process Beginning In June, Faculty Excellence Reaches Out To Academic Schools/Colleges To Determine Candidates For The Upcoming Year And Assign Access To The System. Committees Evaluate Submissions And Provide Feedback. Workflow For Approval Process May Also Include Department, School, College, University And Dean. Provost Typically Has The Last Step In The Approval Process. Security And Access Are Done On A Manual Basis. Depending On The Type Of Appointment (Faculty, Non-Tenure, Instructor, Lecturer, Instructional Designers, Librarians), There Is A Slightly Different Approval Pathway And Approval Process. Fqms (Faculty Qualifications Management System): Custom Application Is Used To Conduct The Review And Certification Of Teaching Qualifications. The Current System Is Tightly Linked To University Policy As Each Academic Department Has Requirements For Their Specific Discipline. Academic Department Administrators Submit Qualification Information On Behalf Of The Faculty. A Workflow To Review And Approve The Forms Is Tied To The Process And Routes Form To The Appropriate Approvals. Reporting From The Efqms System Is A Significant Requirement. Faculty Eawards: Custom Application That Coordinates The Award Programs That Recognize And Inspire Faculty In Advancing The University’S Mission. Each Award May Have Its Own Requirements.
