Environmental Improvement Plan – Nesters Depot - The Resort Municipality Of Whistler (Rmow) Is Accepting Proposals To Develop An Infrastructure Design Plan For Storm Water Collection And Habitat Impact Mitigation For The Nesters Waste Depot. The Plan Will Focus On Design Improvements To Mitigate The Impacts Of Storm Water Collection Effluent On Adjacent Habitat Areas. The Plans And Designs Are For The Purpose Of Mitigating Potential Environmental Contamination And Pollution To The Surrounding Natural Areas. The Major Elements Of The Project Are As Follows: • Create A Design That Expands On The Existing Storm Water Collection Pollution Control System At The Nester’S Depot. The Proposed System Should Meet Or Exceed Effluent Quality Standards For Bc Water Quality Guidelines For Aquatic Life And Wildlife, And The Relevant Schedules And Guidelines Of Both The Contaminated Sites Regulations And The Canadian Council Of Ministers Of The Environment. • Provide Information Regarding Ongoing Operation And Maintenance Of The Storm Water Collection System To Meet Provincial Regulatory Guidelines.
