Consultancy - Roll Out Training For Health Centres Deadline: 15-Sep-2022 23:59 (Gmt 8.00) Beijing, Perth, Singapore, Hong Kong Who Has Supported The Government Of Lao Pdr To Develop And Field Test A Training For Essential Care On Pregnancy, Child Birth And Covid-19 Infection Prevention And Control At Health Centre Level As Part Of A Broader Strategy To Strengthen Primary Health Care Through The Connect (Community Network Engagement Through Essential Health Care And Covid-19 Responses Through Trust) Initiative. The Training Package Has Been Finalized As One Of The Modules Of The Connect Initiative. To Enhance Quality Of The Training During Roll Out To All Health Centres, Strong Technical Support Is Needed During The Initial Two Weeks Training Of Trainers In Each Province. The Government Of Lao Pdr Has Requested Support From Who To Support The Further Roll Out Of This Training Package. Purpose/Specific Objective Of The Activity The Consultant Will Provide Technical Support To The Government Of Lao Pdr For The Roll Out Training For Health Centres On Essential Care For Pregnancy, Child Birth And Covid-19 Infection Prevention And Control Description Of Activities To Be Carried Out Meetings With Government Counterparts, Who Country Office, Relevant Stakeholders Technical Support To Trainings, Implementation Of The Intervention Qualifications & Experience Education Required Essential: Education In Medicine, Midwifery Or Nursing Experience Required Essential: At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Health Care Providers In Lao Pdr, In The Area Of Maternal And Child Health Experience In Working In Clinical Care Desirable: Experience Working With Health Centre Staff And Communities Is Appreciated Skills / Technical Skills And Knowledge Knowledge Of The Lao Health System And Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child And Adolescent Health (Rmncah) Strategy, Preferably With Familiarity With The Health Centres Facilitation And Capacity Building Skills Language Requirements English Is Required. Fluency In Lao Language And Ability To Read Lao Is Highly Appreciated. Competencies Strong Communication And Facilitating Skills Proactive Work Attitudes Additional Information Place Of Assignment The Consultant Is Expected To Work Remotely. Coordination Will Be Carried Out By Email And Teleconferences. The Consultant Is Expected To Join Scheduled Weekly Meetings Remotely During Business Hours In The Regional Office.
