The selected vendor or vendors will be provided access to the Operation & Maintenance Manuals replated to the equipment specified above. III STATEMENT OF WORK AND REQUIREMENTS Section A – Steam Turbine Major Inspection (ST Major) Pre-outage • Verify Running Condition • Record full set of vibration readings • Record full set of temperature and pressure readings • Inventory spare parts and special tooling • Provide updated schedule. • Attend a pre-outage meeting to review scope, schedule, manpower, and parts Steam Turbine • Remove insulation and coupling guards. • Instrumentation to be removed by UCDMC. • Record as found laser alignment: Turbine to Gearbox, Gearbox to Generator • Remove couplings. • Record coupling spacing on all couplings • Record thrust readings • Remove upper turbine case • Record run outs • Record rotor position, axial, and radial readings on interstage • Remove governor • Disassemble bearings • Disassemble packing cases • Rig and remove rotor • Rig and remove diaphragms • Remove interstage seals • Sand blast Rotor and Diaphragms with Aluminum oxide 220 (Offsite) • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on rotor, diaphragms, and UT bearings • Check rotor run outs and record • Check rotor balance • Disassemble and check three pocket valves and actuators (Automatic Hand Valves) • Clean and inspect all removed and exposed parts • Clean and inspect horizontal joint and diaphragm fits • Clean and inspect bearing housings, bearings, and seal fits • Check and record bearing dimensions • Clean and inspect oil seals • Clean and inspect Gland Seal Housings and Seals, High Pressure and Low Pressure
