Tenders Are Invited For Camp Swift ERCIP Microgrid MILCON

Camp Swift ERCIP Microgrid MILCON Per TGC 437; The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide a Microgrid system for Camp Swift facility located at 1705 Highway 95 North, Bastrop, TX 78602. The project includes but is not limited to providing a Microgrid system capable of islanding the segment of Camp Swift’s electrical distribution system starting at the primary feed and extending south and east through Camp Swift distribution to the range complex on Range Road.& The system will incorporate a new 500kW diesel generator, a new 650kW ground mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar array, a new solar rated step-up transformer, an existing 500kW natural gas generator, an existing 1200A, 480V synchronizing switchgear, an existing 1500kVA transformer, and an existing SEL microgrid master controller. This project will include a microgrid controller that will need to comply with Unified Facilities Criteria and when complete, achieve an authority to operate (ATO) through the process of Risk Management Framework (RMF). This is a military construction project which requires it to meet the requirements of the Buy American Act. INVITATION FOR BID – CFMO22-ENG-C-13; per TGC 2269, competitive bids will be received by the TMD until 10:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST), Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Camp Mabry, Building 38, Conference Room, 2200 W. 35th Street, Austin, Texas 78703 for the Camp Swift ERCIP Microgrid MILCON Project. The total estimated cost of this project is $4,070,000.00.& ALL BIDDERS MUST BE PRE-QUALIFIED TO BID ON THIS PROJECT (PRIME & GENERAL CONTRACTORS ONLY). The Contractor Pre-Qualifications, Plans, and Specs are obtained electronically in digital format by requesting the documents via the group email [email protected] on or before 4:00 PM CST, Tuesday, September 13, 2022. The deadline to submit completed pre-qualification documents to the TMD Camp Swift ERCIP group email is 4:00 PM CST, Friday, September 23, 2022.
