Tenders Are Invited For The Provision of Construction services for Lisloughrey Pier, Co. Mayo

This Contract involves the construction of a new concrete walkway, slipway, gangway, and floating pontoon with mono piles as well as the raising and repointing of an existing masonry wall within the existing Lisloughrey Pier in Co. Mayo. General Description of the Minimum Scope of Works Required •Provide, maintain and dismantle safe access to the works; •Provide, maintain and dismantle site boundary fencing for the duration of the works; •Exclusion of or removal of any watercraft, vehicle or structure which enters the works area or surrounds, or causes interference with the progress of works is the responsibility of the contractor; •Erection of site offices and compound; •Dealing with existing services; •Compliance with Planning Environmental Requirements as included in the Tender Documentation; •Traffic Management; •Clearing of the site of all vegetation specified in the site works and loose material where necessary to facilitate the works; •Demolition Works where specified to accommodate works; •Construction of concrete walkway with handrail; •Construction of slipway; •Installation of galvinised steel gangway; •Installation of floating pontoon with galvanised mono piles (contrary to CEMP, the mono piles are cast into the slipway slab within the damed area. A floating barge will not be required); •Installation of bollard and chain; •Installation of proposed mooring ring; •Installation of temporary dam; •Repositioning, repointing and reinstatement of missing masonry on existing pier masonry wall; •Reinstatment of road markings; •Site clean-up and removal of site offices and compound; •Hand-over to Client; •Acting as Project Supervisor Construction Stage for the works; •Liaising with Statutory Authorities; •Production of As-Built drawings following works.
