Expression of Interest for Comoros Social Safety Net Project

Comoros Social Safety Net Project 1- The Union Of The Comoros Has Obtained An Initial Donation From The International Development Association In The Amount Of Sdr 4.2 Million (About 6 Million Dollars) To Finance The Social Safety Nets Project, The Implementation Of Which Force Took Place In July 2015. Following Cyclone Kenneth In April 2019 And At The Request Of The Comorian Government, The World Bank Granted Additional Financing Of Usd 18 Million To Cover The Financing Gap Relating To The Implementation Of Activities Relating To (I) Socio-Economic Recovery Grants To Help Households Affected By Cyclone Kenneth; (Ii) Rehabilitation/Reconstruction Of Small Infrastructure In Affected Communities; And (Ii) The Administration And Monitoring Of These Activities. It Intends To Use Part Of The Amount Of This Donation To Make Payments Under The Contract Relating To The Mission Relating To The Audit Of The Accounts For The 2022-2023 Financial Years. 2- The Project Management Unit (Pmu) Invites Eligible Candidates To Express Their Interest In The Services Described Above Interested Consultants Must Provide Information Indicating That They Are Qualified To Perform The Services (Brochures, Detailed Cv, Reference Concerning The Execution Of Similar Contracts, Experience In Similar Conditions, Etc.) 3- The Consultant Will Be Selected In Accordance With The Procedures Defined In The Regulation Of "Award Of Contracts Within The Framework Of The Financing Of Investment Projects (Fpi) Supplies, Works, Services Other Than Consultancy Services And Services Of Consultants July 2016, Revised In 2017, 2018, 2019, And 2020 4- The Mission Will Be Carried Out By An Audit And Accounting Firm Of International Reputation, Independent And Having The Usual Profession Of Auditing The Accounts, Member Of A Professional Accounting Order Recognized By Ifac, Acceptable By The Bank And With Proven Experience In Financial Auditing Of Development Project Accounts, In Particular Projects Financed By The World Bank.
