When The Pandemic Hit Myanmar In March 2020, It Changed The Trajectory Of Community Engagement Activities For Development And Humanitarian Actors. The Usual Practice Of Face To Face Discussions, Trainings And Awareness Sessions With Groups At The Camps And Community Level Got Restricted And Had To Be Replaced (Mostly) With Digital Methods. This Shift Entailed A Period Of Adjustment Not Just For The Community Volunteers And Target Population, But Also For The Staff Working In Non-Government And Civil Society Organizations. Initial Apprehensions, Skepticism And Reluctance Were Replaced With Optimism When The Initial Online Trainings On Covid-19 Related Awareness Worked. Taking Off From This, Online Modality Served Orientations, Trainings, Awareness Sessions, Meetings And Most Recently Even Virtual Visits And Remote Monitoring In 2021.
