Expression of Interest for Tesp Iii&Iv Coordinator

Tesp Iii&Iv Coordinator Tuvalu Learning Project The Tuvalu Learning Project (Tulep) Is A Five-Year Intervention To Improve The Readiness Of Children Entering First Grade And Improve The Reading Skills Of Students. It Is Supported By The World Bank Through An International Development Association (Ida) Grant Of Us$14 Million. The Project Includes Four Components: (I) Strengthening Early Childhood Care And Education And School Readiness For All Children; (Ii) Improving Literacy Outcomes In All Schools; (Iii) Research, Learning Assessment And Policy Review; And (Iv) Strengthening Institutional Capacity, Monitoring And Evaluation And Education Sector Management. The Project Will Support All Ecce Centers And Primary Schools In Tuvalu, As Well As Some Support At The Upper Primary And Secondary Grades. The Project Is Currently Being Implemented By The Ministry Of Education, Youth And Sports (Meys) And The Ministry Of Finance (Mof) In Collaboration With The World Bank, Dfat, Unicef And Other Development Partners Active In Tuvalu The Consulting Services (“The Services”) Include A Tesp Iii&Iv Coordinator To Support Implementation Of Project Activities In Accordance With World Bank Standards And Procedures, The Financing Agreements, And Other Approved Program Documentation. It Is Anticipated That The Consultant Will Commence As Soon As Possible For 12 Months Fulltime In Tuvalu.
