Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Effects Of Ocean Currents On Marine Debris Distribution And Fate In Pacific Island Countries, And Predicted Future Distributions And Impacts And Response To Climate Change The Overall Objective Of This Assignment Is To Generate Knowledge And Analysis Of On Ocean Currents And Outcomes Of Climate Change Effect On The Occurrence Of Marine Debris In Pacific Island Countries (Pics) And The Impact Of Marine Debris From/To Pics Fisheries To Better Inform Monitoring And Management Of Fisheries And Aquaculture Farms. The Assessment Has A Country Level And Regional Focus. The Assessments Geographical Scope Includes The 12 Pics. The Study Will Determine The Effect Of Ocean Currents On The Source Of Debris That Drifts Into Pic Eezs, And The Fate Of Debris Generated By Pic Fisheries And Aquaculture Farms. The Study Will Project Changes In Marine Debris Distribution And Fate Based On A Synthesis Of Predicted Responses, Including Changes In Currents And The Distribution Of Fishing Effort, To The Outcomes Of Human-Induced Climate Change.
