Tenders Are Invited For Tender for the Servicing and Maintenance of the Bring site network in County Monaghan 2022-2025.

Monaghan County Council presently has 25 bring sites in operations at various locations throughout the County. At these sites green, brown, and clear glass is collected as well as aluminium cans. Monaghan County is now inviting tenders from competent contractors for the collection and recycling of glass and aluminium cans from the county council bring site network and the maintenance of these banks in accordance with the specifications outlined in the tender documents. The contract will be for 3 years with an option of a further 2 No one-year extensions subject to agreement between Monaghan County Council and the successful tenderer. Prospective tenderers should note that the receptacles (recycling banks) currently provided on the County’s bring site network are not owned by Monaghan County Council but by the company that currently services the sites and consequently the successful tenderer will be required to provide all the recycling banks required to fulfill the contract at no cost to Monaghan County Council. The per tonne costings submitted in the form of tender should reflect the fact that the successful tenderer will be responsible for the supply and provision of all receptacles.
