Tenders Are Invited For Operation And Maintenance Of La Brasserie Transfer Station And Transportation Of Wastes From La Brasserie Transfer Station To Mare Chicose Landfill. The Ministry Of Environment, Solid Waste Management And Climate Change (Solid Waste Management Division) Intends To Contract Out The Operation And Maintenance Of The La Brasserie Transfer Station. The La Brasserie Transfer Station Is Located In The District Of Plaines Wilhems And Its Catchment Area Includes The Municipal Councils Of Curepipe, Vacoas / Phoenix And Quatre Bornes. The Main Objectives Of The Contract Are To: (A) Operate And Maintain The Transfer Station (B) Transport Daily Incoming Wastes From The Transfer Station To The Mare Chicose Landfill (C) Operate A Civic Amenity Centre And Retrieve Recyclables Such As Used Tyres, Paper, Plastics, From The Incoming Wastes The Service Provider Is Also Expected To Design, Implement, Test And Commission Fire Fighting Systm At The Transfer Statioin.
