Tenders Are Invited For Multiparty Framework Agreement For Environmental Consultancy Services In Relation To Ecological Surveys And Assessment

Galway City Council (Gcc) Wishes To Establish A Multiparty Framework Agreement For The Provision Of Ecological Consultancy Services In Relation To The Development Of Lands In Which The Council Is Involved Within The City. It Is The Intention That Gcc Will Publish Mini-Competitions (Call-Off Contracts) From This Ecological Consultancy Services Framework. It Is Envisaged That These Services Will Be Carried Out In A Planned Manner Where Work Packages Are Identified In Advance Of Each Call Off. Detailed Service Requirements Will Be Set Out As Part Of Each Mini-Competition For Each Of The Individual Ecological Services Contracts. Galway City Council Reserves The Right To Appoint Less Than Ten Contractors For The Framework. The Scope Of The Ecological Services Contract May Include Part Or All Of The Following Elements Within 3No. Lots, Including: Lot 1: Ecological Services Terrestrial Lot 2: Ecological Services Aquatic Lot 3: Ecological Services Marine Report Writing Including: Ecological Impact Assessment (Ecia), Appropriate Assessment Screening Report (Aasr) And Natural Impact Statements (Nis) (In Accordance With The European Communities (Birds And Natural Habitats) Regulations 2011 As Amended And The Planning And Development Act 2000 As Amended), Derogation Licences, Invasive Species Management Plans, Habitat Management Plans Etc. Ecological Surveys Including: Habitat And Botanical Surveys; Fauna Surveys Including But Not Limited To The Wildlife Acts 1976 To 2021 (As Amended) Schedule 5 Species, Habitats Directive Annex Ii And Annex Iv Species, Breeding Bird Surveys, Wintering Bird Surveys; Invasive Alien Animal And Plant Species Surveys; Site Supervision For Ecological Works. Reporting, Survey Mapping, Target Notes And Photographs To Be Provided In A Digital Format And Spatial Data To Be Provided In An Arcgis Compatible Format. An Ecological Spatial Data Specification Will Be Provided Upon Award.
