Electricity Access Expansion Project The Government Of The Republic Of Niger Has Obtained A Credit From The International Development Association (Ida - World Bank Group), Which It Has Retroceded To The Nigerien Electricity Company (Nigelec), To Finance The Cost Of The Project. Expansion Of Access To Electricity In Niger (Nelacep). The Project Received Initial Financing From The World Bank (Credit 5755-Ne And Grant D0980) And Additional Financing From The World Bank (Credit 6305-Ne And Grant D3650-Ne) And The Eib. The Closing Date Of The Ida Financing Agreements (Credits 5755-Ne And 6305-Ne And Grants D0980 And D3650-Ne) Is Scheduled For December 31, 2023 . It Is Expected That Part Of The Sums Granted For Nelacep Financing Will Be Used To Make The Payments Provided For Under The Contract Relating To The Recruitment Of A Firm For The Audit Of The 2022, 2023 Financial Years And The Grace Period.
