Communications Specialist Digital Federated States Of Micronesia Project Objective Of The Assignment The Communication Specialist Is Required To Assist With The Implementation Of A Holistic Communication Strategy And Plans To Support The Fsm World Bank Funded Projects. The Communications Specialist Will Develop, Manage And Coordinate Public Relations And Visibility Campaigns Relating To The Various World Bank Funded Projects Under Implementation. Scope Of Works The Communications Specialist Will Manage External And Internal Communications. The Communications Specialist Is To Promote A Positive Public Image And Control The Dissemination Of Information For All World Bank Funded Projects Under Implementation In Fsm. The Communication Specialist Will Perform The Following Tasks: Development Of An Overall Program Communication Strategy; Development Of Project Communication Plans; Assist The Project Implementation Units To Document Results; Support The Collection Of Qualitative Data And Reporting On Project Progress; Work Closely With Central Implementation Unit, Project Implementation Units And The World Bank When Drafting Media Releases, Brochures, Media Kits And Other Product And Resource Materials, Including Supervision Of Their Distribution; Contributing To, And Assisting With The Implementation Of Both Internal And External Communications Strategy In Support Of Project Objectives; Ensure Or Enhance The Quality, Consistency And Appropriateness Of Communication Materials, Activities, Processes And Messages; Preparation Of Material For The Project Web Site And Coordination Of Outreach Activities Through Social Media; Identify Opportunities To Strengthen The Capacity Of Partners Through Appropriate Advocacy And Communication Training; Work With The Project Implementation Units To Identify Suitable Topics And From There Work To Produce Blog Posts And News Features For The Department Of Finance And Administration Website; Work With The Department Of Finance And Administration To Support The Preparation Of Press Releases, Speeches, And Other Communications Products
