Tenders Are Invited For Rfp 2022-05 Pine Needle Park Playground

The City Of Perry, Georgia (City) Is Now Accepting Sealed Proposals From Qualified Contractors To Provide And Construct A Playground At Pine Needle Park That Is Accessible And Suitable For Children Ages Two (2) Ten (10). The Proposed Site, Address 1020 Country Club Road, Hereto After Referred To As The Site, Is Currently A Grassed Public Park Space Adjacent To Public Parking And Additional Park Improvements. Please See Exhibit A For Site Location Overview (Approximate Location Of The Playground Is Denoted As Future Playground On Exhibit A). Proposals Should Demonstrate Ability To Deliver The Desired Type Of Playground In A Professional, Comprehensive, And Quality Manner. Proposed Playground Design And Uses Should Provide For Equitable Usage Opportunities For All Ages From Two (2) To Ten (10) Years Including Physical And Sensory Adaptive Uses For Disabled Children. The Playground/Equipment Should Be Designed For The Accommodation Of Approximately Fifty (50) Age-Appropriate Children. Ideally, The Proposed Playground Would Feature Relatively Segregated Areas For The Different Age Groups With A Variety Of Play Options For Each. The Proposals Will Be Evaluated Based On Objective Criteria By A Selection Committee Comprised Of Appropriate City Staff. Responses To This Rfp Should Clearly Address/Include The Following: A. Site Plan/Conceptual Renderings B. Spec Sheet/Manufacturers Promotional Material Of The Proposed Equipment C. Detailed Cost Estimate For The Overall Project D. Project Schedule E. Examples Of Projects Similar In Scope And Budget Completed By The Proposer Submittals Will Be Evaluated Based On The Following Weighted Criteria: Pre-Bid Meeting A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting Will Be Held At The Site Location, Pine Needle Park, 1020 Country Club Road, Perry, Ga 31069 At 9:30 Am June 24, 2022.
