Internal Audit Specialist Project To Strengthen Budget Execution And Financial Reporting Systems The Government Of The Republic Of The Marshall Islands Has Received Financing From The World Bank Toward The Cost Of The Project To Strengthen Budget Execution And Financial Reporting Systems And Intends To Apply Part Of The Proceeds For Consulting Services. The Consulting Services (“The Services”) Will Assist The Project Manager And The Rmi Ministry Of Finance, Banking And Postal Services (Mof) To Effectively Implement The World Bank-Funded Project For The Modernization Of Public Financial Management And The Implementation Of A New Fmis. The Project Also Includes Institutional Strengthening And Capacity Building To Ensure The Sustainability Of The Change Process. The Objective Of This Consultancy Is To Support The Ministry Of Finance, Banking And Postal Services (Mof) In Moving Forward To Establishing An Internal Audit Function, Consistent With The International Internal Auditing Standards, Pursuant To The Intent Of The Cabinet In Endorsing The Pfm Roadmap And The Authority In The Updated Financial Management Bill. The Consultant’S Outputs Will Provide The Basis For Future Technical Assistance To Further Institutionalize The Internal Audit Function.
