Request For Proposals Are Invited For Professional Services For The Katse Dam 3D Finite Element Analysis The Lesotho Highlands Water Project (Lhwp) Is A Multi-Disciplinary, Multi-Phase, Binational Project Undertaken By The Governments Of The Kingdom Of Lesotho And Of The Republic Of South Africa In Accordance With A Treaty Signed Between The Two Countries In 1986. Phase Ia Of The Lhwp Comprised The Construction Of Katse Dam; The Concrete-Lined Transfer Tunnel Through Which Water Flows Under Gravity To The Muela Hydro-Power Station; The Muela Dam And The Delivery Tunnel Through Which The Water Discharges Into The Ash River, North Of Clarens In South Africa. You Are Hereby Invited To Submit Technical And Financial Proposals For Katse Dam 3D Finite Element Analysis. This Proposal Will Form The Basis For Future Negotiations And, Ultimately, A Contract Between Your Firm And The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (Lhda). More Details On The Specific Services To Be Provided Are Included In The Scope Of Services (Section 3). The Bidder Must Intend To Execute The Majority Of The Services To Be Provided, Regardless Of Whether Sub-Consultants Will Be Engaged. The Total Value Of The Services To Be Subconsulted Must Not Exceed Forty Percent (40%) Of The Contract Value, And The Subconsultant Must Not Sub-Consult Further.
