The Selected Areas Shall Obtain The Required Sa 2 Surface Finish And Profiles. The Surface Shall Be Dried Up Soon After Me Chanical Cleaning And A Coat Of Primer And 2 Coats Of Paints Shall Be Applied. Any Pin Holes Or Repairs On Tank Found During Cleaning Will Be Intimated To Dewa For Repair And Contractor Has Complete Painting After The Repair. *The Staircase, Landings, All Handrails Shall Be Hydro Blasted Or Sand Blas Ted And Painted As Per Standard. *The Tank External Surfaces Of The Tank Including Roof Shall Be Cleaned And Degreased By Washing W Ith A Hydro Jetting With Or Without Degreasing Agents As Required By The Contractor. This Will Be Basically Required To Remove Loose Scales, Dust, Oily Matter And Salt Deposits Over The Surface. *The Total Paint Thickness Shall Not Be Less Than 250 Microns Dry Fi Lm Thickness. Accumulation Of Waste In The Plant Will Not Be Permitted. The Cleanliness Is An Essential Part Of This Job. *At The End Of The Job, The Contractor Shall Tho Roughly Clean The Site To The Owner#S Satisfaction And Promptly Demobilize From The Site. *Contractor Shall Arrange Resting Area And Toilet Facilities For Its Own Staff At Its Own Expense. *Contractor Will Be Responsible For Provide Documents Of Its Staff To Apply For Dewa Gates Passes Before Starting Of The Job. *At The End Of Job, Contractor Shall Submit Report Of Before And Condition Of Tank To Dewa. Mentioning All Details Of The Work. 4.#Dewa Resposibilities : *On Application With Relevant Particulars, Dewa Wil L Provide Temporary Entry Passes For The Contractor#S Supervisors And Workers. No Office Or Storage Space Will Be Provided By Dewa. It Will Be The Contractor#S Responsibility To Provide This. * Primer, Paint And Thinner Will Be Provided By Dewa * Scaffoldings Required For The Work Will Be Provided By Dewa. #*Free Electricity And Water Supply Will Be Made Available T O The Contractor At A Readily Available Point In The Plant For Contractor#S Use. It Will Be His Responsibility To Provide The Materi Al And Make Further Connections For His Use. The Stations Compressed Air Supplies Shall Not Be Used By The Contractor. Water For Hyd Ro Jetting If Proposed, Will Be Supplied By Dewa. Any Bulk Storage Need For Water Storage For His Own Work Will Be The Responsibilit Y Of The Contractor.# #*Any Facilities Of The Plant Other Than Those Clearly Identified By Dewa Engineer, Shall Not Be Touched Or U Sed Without Prior Permission From The Dewa. #*However, Contractor Shall Ensure That Any Facility Provided By Dewa Shall Not Be Wast Ed Or Misused. 5.#Stage Inspection & Final Tests: *The Work Carried Out Under This Contract Shall Be Inspected By The Owner#S Rep Resentatives At All Stages Of Work. The Owner#S Inspectors Shall Have Free Access To The Site At All Time During The Contract Period . Certain Specific Stage Inspections Are Mandatory. Only After The Inspection And Certification Shall The Job Proceed Further Observ Ation Of Heavy Corrosion, Pin Holes And Loss Of Material After Blasting Should Be Reported To Dewa. These Areas Have To Be Attended By Patch Welding Or With A Repair Putty Advance Notice For These Inspections Shall Be Given To The Owner To Enable Prompt Scheduling Of The Inspections. The Stage Inspections Will Be After: 1.#Washing, Degreasing And Cleaning. 2.#After Primer Coat Application. 3. #After Undercoat Application. 4.#After Finish Coat Application. 5.#At The Time Of Tests Of Wet & Dry Film Thickness, Bonding And Pul L Off Test Or Any Surface Pinhole Checks, If Required. #*The Contractor Shall Maintain & Provide To Client A Daily Report Of Work D One, Manpower Utilized And The Climatic Conditions During The Job Period. 1.#Cleanliness: #*The Oil Tanks Are Considered To Be Hig Hly Hazardous Area. The Electrical Equipment Used Herein Shall Be Explosion Proof. No Welding, Heating, Blow Torch Work, Naked Flame S Or Normal Electrical Equipment Shall Be Taken To The Proximity Of The Tanks Before The Tanks Are Made Fire Safe. Dewa#S Specific C Learance After Their Checking Will Be The Instance When The Tanks Are Declared To Be Fire Safe. #*Specific Permits For Hot Work And Standby Fireguards From Dewa Are Prerequisites For Clearance For Hot Work. This Shall Be Taken On Daily Basis And Shall Be Required More Often If Felt Necessary. Dewa Chemists Will Check The Explosivity Before All Such Clearances. #*The Contractor Shall Prepare Risk Assessment For Each Work That Forms A Part Of This Contract. This Risk Assessment Shall Be Evaluated And Cleared By Dewa Befor E Work Is Commenced. #*The Contractor Shall Prepare And Get Approval From Dewa For #Permit To Work (Ptw)# In Standard Dewa Format.
