Tenders Are Invited For Ww 263 W - Sewerage Project At Cite La Ferme, Bambous. Residence La Ferme Is A Cha Type Housing Estate, Which Is Located At Bambous, In The Western Region Of Mauritius, And Consists Of Approximately 275 Housing Units., The Site Is Presently Unsewered; A Domestic Wastewater Is Being Disposed Of Via On-Site Disposal System, Mostly Cesspits. These Pits Have Long Reached Their Saturation State, With The Result That They Are Prone To Frequent Overflow, Thereby Causing Severe Sanitation Problems And Inconveniences To The Residents. In View Of Providing A Long Term Solution To The Above Problems, The Wma Has Decided To Implement A Sewerage Project At Residence La Ferme, Whereby The Domestic Wastewater Will Be Collected And Disposed Into The Existing Sewerage Pumping Station At Bambous. A Copy Of The Site And Location Plan Is Enclosed At Annex 1. Scope Of Works The Project Will Be Undertaken On A Design And Build Basis, With The Following Main Components: · Construction Of Approximately 2.8 Km Of Street Sewer Within Residence La Ferme · Connection Of Some 275 Houses To The Sewer Network Construction Of Around 700M Of Collector Sewer Along The A3 Road At Bambous, Which Is A Classified Road, Falling Under The Aegis Of The Road Development Authority Tender Link :
