Tenders Are Invited For Consultancy Services For Preparation Of Environmental Impact Statement For Kwamoka Farms And Processing Limited Kwamoka Farms And Processing Limited (Kfpl) Is A Subsidiary Of Kwamoka Group Of Companies Established To Undertake General Farming, Plantation Establishment And Development And Processing Of Agricultural Products. The Company Is Currently Developing 480 Hectares (1,200 Acres) Exotic Bamboo And Cassava Plantations At Jeduako-Kwamang In The Sekyere West District Of Ashanti Region Of Ghana. The Company Will Utilize The Cultivated Bamboo As The Feedstock For Its Proposed Pellet Manufacturing Factory. Kfpl In Fulfilment Of Its Environmental Compliance In Respect Of The Policy, Legal And Regulatory Framework Is Required By The Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1994 (Act 490) And The Environmental Assessment Regulations 1999 (Li 1652) To Be Environmentally Certified To Ensure That Its Operational Activities Do Not Affect The Quality Of The Environment. This Statutory Compliance Is Affected Through Undertaking An Environmental Impact Assessment (Eia).
