Duration: Start Date: June 2022 End Date: October 2022 Description Of Activities To Be Carried Out Under The Overall Supervision Of The Incident Manager And The Who Representative And The Case Management Pillar Lead, The Consultant Will Provide Technical Assistance On Clinical Management And Infection Prevention And Control (Ipc) For Covid-19 Response Activities In The Following Areas: Ensure Close Coordination Between Clinical Management, Infection Prevention And Control, Laboratory Response, Surveillance And Logistics Teams. Contribute To Maintaining An Overview Of The Health-Related Situation In The Country, Analyse And Synthesise Incoming Field Information On Treatment, Health Facilities, And Health Workers, Ensure That Updates Are Provided On A Regular And Timely Basis To All Levels Of The Response Guideline Development In Collaboration With National Health Officials And Partner Organisations, Provide Technical Expertise And Operational Support For An Evidence-Informed And Timely Response To Covid-19 Case Management And Ipc, Ensuring That Clinical Management Priorities, Clinical Pathways, Protocols, And Activities Are Managed Effectively And In Compliance With Who Technical Guidelines Update Or Revise The Existing Clinical And Ipc Guidelines, Sops And Job Aids For The Health Care Workers And Iec Materials For Patients As Needed, Including To Manage Emerging Variants Of Concern And Introduce Evidence-Based Therapies Skills Based Training Support Provincial Trips To Improve Clinical Capacity Building And Specifically Covid-19 Management And Care Pathways. Support/Upskill Response Teams In Instituting Appropriate Case Management Measures Clinical Data Management Support The Country To Improve Clinical Case Reporting And Health System Utilisation Data From Facility Based And Home-Based Isolation Facilities Revise Or Update Training Materials And Tools For Patient Tracking And Reporting, And Contribute To Hcw Training Support The Maintenance Of A Clinical Cluster Database Of Activities And Workplans.
