Publication Date: 12-May-2022 Expression Of Interest Deadline: 19-May-2022 The Scope Of Work For This Consultancy Includes The Following: I) Stock Take Of Current Esg Regulations/ Guidelines In Png And Fiji With A Focus On Highlighting The Consistencies/ Adherence And Critical Differences/Gaps Between Png And Fiji National Esg Regulations/ Guidelines Currently In Place And The Ifc Performance Standards And Cg Methodology; Ii) Review Of Esg Practices At Fis And Medium Size Companies In A Number Of Targeted High-Risk Sectors In The Context Of Covid-19; Iii) Propose Solutions To Improve Fis/Companies Esg Practices For The New Normal Drawing On Ifcs Guidance On Esg Leading To Increased Investment Especially For New Investors That Have Become Increasingly Aware Of Esg Issues; And Iv) Stock Take Of Esg Service Providers Operating In Fiji And Png. The Review Will Help Ifc To Define Specific Esg Advisory Interventions At The Firm Level To Strengthen Their Esg Technical Capacity, Structures, And Systems To Respond To New Market Challenges As A Result Of Covid-19 And Support Fis To Strengthening Their Esg Risk Resilience Including Climate In Their Portfolio (Covering Banking, Capital Markets And Non-Banking Sectors). The Review Should Also Apply A Gender Lens To Identify Opportunities For Esg Advisory Interventions.
