Tenders Are Invited For NUIG Provision of an Automated Peptide Synsizer

Tenders are sought for the provision of an Automated Peptide Synthesizer. This instrument must be capable of automating the parallel synthesis of single peptides on larger scale (250 μmol) and the synthesis of peptide arrays (at least 96 peptides on a scale of 1 to 5 μmol) on a solid support. The instrument must be capable of heating reaction mixtures through conventional or microwave heating. The instrument should have a standalone module with the capability to automate or semi-automate the cleavage of peptides from the solid support and the facility to transfer cleaved peptides. Computing hardware and software and vacuum systems required to run the instrument must be provided. At least a one-year warranty, a preventative maintenance visit and long-term application support must be provided.
