Tenders Are Invited For Provision For Hoarding Off At War Memorial, Royal College ,Curepipe 1. Construction Of 13 Stainless Steel Bollards Secured With Chain Links. 2. The Bollard Shall Be Designed In Such A Way That It Is Dismountable From Its Socket. 3. The Base Of The Dismountable Bollard Shall Be Embedded In The Ground With Heavy Duty Metal Flaps With Recessed Hinge. 4. The Surround Of The Bollard Plate Shall Be Cladded With Existing Stone Carefully Cut To Size Or Laying Of Tarmac To Surround Of Bollard Plate Where Required. 5. The Top Metal Flaps Shall Be Painted Or Otherwise Matching The Existing Stone Colour/Texture. 6. Hoarding Off Shall Be Done Via The Use Of Hot Dip Galvanized Chain Link In Two Rows Starting At One Column At A Passing Through The 40Mm Hole Each Bollard And Attached To The Other Column At B As Indicated In The Drawings. 7. All The Bollards When Fitted On Each Hole Shall Be Secured With Proper Padlocks. Chain Links Shall Be Provided In Two Rows And Shall Have A Wavy Look. 8. The Chain Links At Both Columns Shall Be Also Secured With Padlocks Attachments. 9. Any Damages Disruption Caused During Construction/ Fixing Of Bollards Shall Be Made Good. 10. All Embedded Bollard Base Shall Be Flushed With The Stone Level Ground / Tarmac Level When The Flap Is Closed. 11. The Stainless Steel Bollard Shall Be Of Polished Finish. 12. All Specifications Of Stainless Steel Of Grade 316 Shall Be Submitted And Approved Prior To Proceeding With Manufacturing. 13. A Sample Of End Product Of Bollard Shall Be Submitted For Approval Before Proceeding. 14. The Site Shall Be Demarcated Using Hoarding. The Layout Shall Be Decided On Site Subject To Approval Of Architect And Client. Vehicular And Pedestrian Access To And Fro Shall Remain Fluid During Construction Period.
