Northland Cruise Ship Terminal Pile Repair Project - The Purpose Of This Request For Proposals Is To Invite Proponents To Prepare And Submit Competitive Proposals To Safely Complete Pile Wrapping Repairs At The Northland Cruise Terminal. Through This Request For Proposals Process, The Prince Rupert Port Authority (“Prpa”) Is Seeking To Enter Into A Contract (The “Contract”) With An Experienced, Qualified Contractor To Perform The Work Required For The Project. This Project Is Focussed On Pile Repairs To The Mooring Dolphins At The Northland Cruise Terminal. Recent Inspections Completed Have Identified Corrosion And Other Defects Present On Various Dolphin Piles, At Different Depths. Comprehensive Repair Works Are Planned, Based On Repair Drawings And Specifications That Have Been Prepared. Completion Of The Repair Work Will Generally Include Steel Pile Repairs With Pile Wrappings, Underwater Epoxy Applications, And To Supply And Install Sacrificial Anodes As Part Of A Cathodic Protection Upgrade. Any Description Or Overview Of The Project And The Draft Contract In This Rfp Is Provided For Convenience Only And Does Not Replace, Supersede, Supplement, Or Alter The Contract. Site Visits Can Be Coordinated With Prpa Through The Contact Person. Please Notify The Contact Person If You Wish To Schedule A Site Visit. As A Condition Of Entering The Site, The Proponent Agrees To Comply With, And Cause All Of Its Representatives To Comply With, All Site Rules Which May Be Established By Prpa.
