Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Provision Of Central Project Coordination Unit (Cpcu) For The Small Islands Food And Water Project (Sifwap) Deadline: 14-Apr-2022 15:00 (Gmt 1.00) Western Europe Time, London, Lisbon, Casablanca The Purpose Of This Request For Expression Of Interest (Reoi) Is To Solicit Expression Of Interest From Qualified Firms Willing To Participate In A Subsequent Request For Proposal (Rfp). The Small Islands Food And Water Project (Sifwap) Is An Ifad Project, With Gafsp Financing Of Us$ 12 Million. The Project Covers Four Countries: The Federated States Of Micronesia, Kiribati, The Marshall Islands And Tuvalu. The Aim Of This Procurement Process Is To Identify A Qualified Firm To Staff And Run The Central Project Coordination Unit (Cpcu) Of The Sifwap Project And Thus To Provide Support And Technical Assistance To Each National Delivery Unit (Ndu) For All Aspects Of The Program Including Procurement, Financial Management, M&E, Reporting, And Planning. The Cpcu Shall Provide High-Level Technical And Operational Backstopping Support And Coaching Services To Ndus, Island Delivery Unit (Idus) And Facilitators, To Enable Comprehensive, Effective And Efficient Implementation Of The Sifwap Project. The Cpcu Will Seek To Provide All Support Required By Ndus In Order To Comply With Fiduciary Covenants Of The Respective Ifad And Government Financing Agreements For Each Of The Four Participating Countries. The Contract For Consulting For The Period Of 5 Years, Plus A 6-Months Closing Period. In This Context, The Contract With The Organization Will Initially Be For 3 Years With The Possibility Of 2-Year Contract Extension Subject To Satisfactory Performance. The Expected Commencement Of Service Will Be Early Of 2022.
