Laboratory Testing Services 2022 Annual Contract A. Samples Collected Are Regulatory In Nature And Analytical Methods Used Must Be Approved Methods By Either The Safe Drinking Water Act (Potable Water) Or The Clean Water Act (Wastewater). B. It Is Intended That One Primary Laboratory Be Selected For Analyses As Required By The Board. However, Two Or More Laboratories May Be Selected, And The Total Amount Of Work As Indicated In The Scope May Be Divided If It Is Determined That Doing So Will Provide The Best Possible Service To The Board. The Actual Amount Of Work Assigned Will Depend Upon The Capabilities And Level Of Performance By The Selected Lab(S) As Well As Cost. Laboratories Must Be Able To Consistently Demonstrate A High Level Of Performance With Minimal Management And Supervision By The Board Staff With Regard To Timely And Accurate Reports And Invoicing. C. The Contract Duration Is For A Period Of One Year With Two Additional One-Year Extension Options After Prior Written Approval Of Both Parties. D. With Each Renewal, The Analytical Needs May Vary Depending On The Regulatory Requirements And The Laboratory Must Be Able To Meet These Requirements Or Subcontract This Work Out As Needed.
