Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Individual Consultancy To Recruit An Agri-Business Specialist For Retrap Scope Of Services: The Consultant Will Seek To Actualize The Commercialization Objective Of Retrap With Particular Focus On Value Chains And Agribusiness Development, Providing Support To The Identification And /Or Development Of Investment Operations And Related Support Policies. The Ministry Of Agriculture Now Invites Eligible Individual Consultants To Indicate Their Interest In Performing The Services. Interested Individual Consultants Should Provide Updated Curriculum Vitae (Cv) And Relevant Documents Indicating That They Have The Required Qualifications And Relevant Experience To Perform The Services. The Shortlisting Criteria Include The Following: Advanced University Degree In Agribusiness Management, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Economic Policy Management, Agricultural Development, Development Economics With A Specialization In Agriculture, Or Closely Related Field. A Minimum Of Ten (10) Years Of Relevant Experience Related To Agriculture And Rural Development, Preferably Related To Agricultural Enterprise Development. Demonstrable Successful Experience In Farmer Mobilization And Linking Small Holder Farmers To Substantive Markets. Practical Experience In Farming Is A Strong Advantage Relevant Experience In Conducting Agricultural/Rural Sector Subsector Analytical Studies, And /Or In Planning, Design, Supervision Of Agricultural And Rural Investment Operations, Including Elaboration Of Agribusiness Investment Feasibility Studies, Food Chain Analyses/Agricultural Market Studies In Developing Countries Experience Working With Multilateral Donor Agencies (African Development Bank, World Bank, Usaid, Etc). Experience With International Development Market-Oriented Programs Is Desirable.
